-This Week At Truth, time to burn the heretics! Wait....am I in the wrong universe? I hear 'Heresy' and think its time for Space Marines but not anymore! Now Heresy means we're going BACK TO THE DREADNAUGHT. Destiny 2 new Episode day and feel the hype. Whether you're looking to explore a fan favorite location once again (there's a few to mention), rain down void and arc damage from the heavens with the new update, or trying to WR Speedrun a clan ban by gilding Dredgen on Day 1 (I see you Corvian), there's a lot to look forward to today. Let's dive in like a Space Marine with a jump pack.
-We've gotten taste of what's coming thanks to the Heresy Dev Livestream and Heresy Launch trailer, ICYMI those are both linked here. Infiltrating the Dreadnaught and bringing order to chaos, feels like old times again. The new Episodic activity, Nether, takes some keys from previous season activities with random encounters and objectives, as well as multiple modes, modifiers, and boons. And loot, don't forget the loot. For the first time, the episodic arsenal will have Adept versions to earn, and a reprisal of the Season of Arrivals weapons. You should all be familiar with those since we spent a lot of time in Arrivals. A new season and story also means SPOILER RULES. Make sure the episode story beats and quest discussion stays in the aptly-named #heretics-chat all episode.
-Speaking of reprisals, and speaking of fan favorite locations, time to bully Atheon and the Templar again! Vault of Glass is getting craftable and reprised weapons this episode. To celebrate this Bungie is adding it as a special third option to the raid rotator this week so we can farm it out too!
-Last week's TWID has a lot more detail on the new Episode artifact as well as new exotic weapons, new weapon mod Power of Resolve, the Fireteam Finder updates and more! Be sure to check out the patch notes as well once they drop after downtime.
-New Dungeon Friday hype! Sundered Doctrine race and livestream starts at 10AM ET/7AM PT on Friday (pre-show), you can dive in yourselves for the contest run of the Dungeon at 12PM ET/9AM PT, or wait until the normal mode unlocks from the first clear.
